My website defines me as a person. — Personal
"Palm Trees on Park Avenue" will have to change once we no longer live in NY. Any suggestions?
I am of course kidding with the title of this post. My website doesn't define me as a person. My designer jeans do.
Is "Palm Trees in Portland" too obvious? They don't have any palm trees there, either, do they?
There are a few problems with "Palm Trees in Portland". One, it doesn't really have a nice ring to it. It sounds too short, especially after coming off from "Palm Trees on Park Avenue". The second reason is that "Palm Trees on Park Avenue" indicated that although I live in NYC, I'm dreaming of paradise. To carry that over to Portland seems as though I'm not doing the move justice, like I'm selling Portland short. Of course with the move Palm Trees in Portland could be interpreted as, now I'm in paradise. Yet I don't know that at this point nor do I really expect such a thing. I think it's a safer bet to just lay the title to rest and look it all in a new light.
Idyllically it could be: Paradise in Portland.
